This four-week Service Parts Component Warehousing program is designed to broaden the participant’s knowledge base of the warehouse and parts market industry. Participants with little to no experience have the opportunity to enter the Parts and Component Market industry, with Forklift Training, OSHA 10 General Industry, and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.
This program will consist of classroom instruction in inventory and component management, inventory procedures, safety, receiving and shipping processes, receiving and stocking merchandise, OSHA and EPA regulations regarding merchandise handling and shipping, customer service skills, and employability skills. Hands-on training sessions will reinforce classroom training and provide actual equipment operation.
Upon completion of the foundational pillars of this Workforce Non-Credit Service Parts Component Warehousing program, the participant will possess sufficient knowledge and certifications to seamlessly enter the Parts and Component Market industry.
Requirements for Program:
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Must have a valid Mississippi driver’s license. State ID not accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Must upload a clear picture of your driver's license to the Canvas course prior to the first day of class.
- Must have and present Social Security card at the first day of class.
- Must complete all certifications to earn completion certificate.
