This in-person Active Shooter Campus Safety course is designed to prepare faculty and staff with the knowledge and practical strategies needed to respond effectively in the event of an active shooter situation. Participants will learn how to recognize potential warning signs, understand emergency response protocols, and apply the nationally recognized “Run, Hide, Fight” framework in a campus setting.

The training emphasizes situational awareness, communication procedures, coordination with campus safety personnel, and post-incident responsibilities. Through discussion-based scenarios and guided instruction, attendees will gain confidence in making informed decisions under high-stress circumstances while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of students and colleagues.
